Who is your favorite composer and what is your favorite instrument?
Who is your Favorite Classical Composer:
Beethoven.
Mozart.
Or Bach?
I have to say, anything played on Violin is my favorite.. But I have only recently been introduced to the works of Bach. I don’t know if it’s because I’ve listened to Beethoven and Mozart so much that Bach is just a breath of fresh air or not, but I really think that Bach is the best.
Perhaps it’s because Beethoven and Mozart have been to commercialized?

January 24, 2010 @ 1:02 amI don’t listen to classical music, only people who could be described as contemporary classical or were highly influenced by classical like Danny Elfman, Within Temptation and Evanescence.
My favourite is the piano and then the violin.
As a solo instrument I also like the saxophone.

January 24, 2010 @ 3:41 amThe Baroque composer Bach. But I also love Mozart (who doesn’t), I like Milhaud and Poulenc, as well (more modern composers).
Favorite instrument: harp or flute. But Michaela Petri is amazing on the recorder, too. . .
DANG it– I can’t decide now. I’m a classically trained professional musician myself, so it’s hard to narrow it down to one favorite.
Edit: Love Verdi, too!
But I do know with dead certainty that I abhor the music of Richard Wagner. . . the Ring Cycle?? I would rather have my fingernails ripped out than have to sit through that.
