If i bought my music on a CD can I make it into a apple ring tone?
I have several CDs and I would like to make some songs into ringtones for my iPhone. I can upload my songs to iTunes but do I have to re-buy my music through iTunes just to get a ringtone out of it? For example I have my Gorillaz Demon Days CD loaded to my iTunes. The iTunes store says the ringtones for that album are available but the bell doesn’t show next to the song in my player. The ringtone column is up though. So I shouldn’t buy CDs anymore?

Otherwise you are at the mercy of iTunes to decide which ring tones you may buy!

January 26, 2010 @ 5:18 pmYou can actually use iTunes to create your own ring tones for free – there’s a nice tutorial with screen shots at the link below.
It only took me a couple minutes to do it, using music I already had loaded in iTunes, and it didn’t cost a penny
