How To Make FREE iPhone 3G/3GS Ringtones XP ONLY
There has been many people that have said that it does not work with the 1st Gen iphone. If you would like to do this process for your your 1st Gen iphone, DON’T ask me questions about it. This Process Works Best With XP. itunes: 7.7.1.11, 8.0, 8.0.1.11, 8.0.2, 8.2, 9.0 iphone Software:2.0.1, 2.0.2, 2.1, 2.2, 2.2.1, 3.0, 3.1, 3.1.1, 3.1.2 Copy and paste these links into your web browser: Audacity: www.sourceforge.net lame_enc.dll: www.dll-files.com Process: 1. Download and extract the Audacity file 2. In Audacity, Select Project; Import Audio. (It’s best to use music from a CD. Audacity will not use protected music.) 3. Trim your song down (30 Seconds or less). 4. Go to File Export as mp3. 5. Audacity will want you to find the lame_enc.dll file. 6. Once it is exported, put the song into your itunes music library. 7. Right click on the song and select “Convert Selection to AAC” 8. Once converted, right click on the the converted song and select copy. 9. Paste it to the Desktop. 10. Once Copied, right click on the song and select rename. 11. Change the .m4a to .m4r 12. A box will come up and say are you sure that you want to chang the file? YES. 13. Once converted, drag and drop into itunes in the Ringtones Library. 14. From the Ringtones library, drag and drop the ringtone into your iphone. Problems? Do This And Try The Process Over Again:My Computer,Control Panel,Folder Options,View, uncheck Hide Extensions For Known File Types I CAN’T HELP WITH THESE STEPS. I HAVE SWITCHED TO A MAC.
