I use dBpowerAMP to convert to wav, then cut it with Sound Recorder, then convert to mp3 for my phone(Samsung t629) or wma for my girlfriend's phone(Nokia 6133). Sound Recorder is one of the programs that comes with Windows. You can get dBpowerAMP from http://www. dbpoweramp. com for free. If you need to convert to the wma format, you'll need to get the Windows Media codec from dBpowerAMP's site. I do it the long way, but I never have a problem with them working correctly. There may be other programs that can be used. There are a lot of them.
